As you are aware, the last couple of years have seen a spurt of cases involving mental health issues including depression, anxiety and addiction. Research has shown that there has been a many fold increase in Digital Addiction amongst youngsters and adults alike. This is going to affect the performance of the individuals over the years if not dealt with immediately. Keeping this in mind, Hoopsters, has initiated a program to identify the risk levels of Digital
Addiction amongst the children, young adults and adults as a preventive measure and as a source of data for early intervention.
Post the survey, our counsellor will address the teachers and the parents( via online call) with regards to Digital Addiction and the rest of the Internet hygiene. We will also address the students on the same subject.
A repeat session will be carried out after 3 months to answer questions and analyse the impact of the program.

Post the survey, our counsellors will address the Adults( via online call). There will be a separate session for parents( again based on the age of their children) and children of the community( based on their age).

The risk assessment survey by itself is free and the general counselling will be delivered at a nominal cost.
In case of High risk groups the parents can seek one-on-one counselling with our experts who will deliver it at a discounted rate.
Our engagement with our participants is not a one-time interaction. All participants will be kept abreast of the various activities at Hoopsters which would involve contests, webinars on mental health, parenting, sustainability aand life skills.
The idea is to create an aware community and in the process bring about change.
All data will be kept confidential.
The data collected is going to be used to diagnose the risk levels of digital addiction in children and adults
Individual results ( in case of a minor) will be shared with the parents and management
Aggregated data analysis of all the students of a particular educational institution will be shared with the institution.
This data will not be used for anything other than the purpose mentioned for.

The questionnaire, which adheres to international survey standards, has been designed by Dr. Ananya O Chitale, MD in Homoeopathic Psychiatry, with over a decade of experience. She’s a Senior Psychotherapist intensively trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Play Therapy. Dr.Chitale is a consultant Psychotherapist at Mind Management Institute in Pune. Additionally, she’s a prolific speaker, having conducted over 100 webinars, seminars, and workshops on mental health. She is today actively involved in creating awareness regarding Digital Addiction across schools, colleges and corporates.
